Gov Alia Mourns Benue’s Former Military Administrator, Joshua Obademi

Benue State Governor, Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia, has expressed sadness over the demise of the former Military Administrator of Benue State, late Group Captain Joshua Obademi.

The Late Group Captain Obademi, died at the age of 73. He was the Military Administrator of Benue State, during the regime of Late General Sani Abacha, from December, 1993 to August, 1996.

The Governor, who spoke through his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula, described the late Military Administrator, as someone who was dedicated, and had contributed greatly to the development of Benue State , especially through functional literacy for women.

“The functional literacy Program of the late Obademi, helped in the improvement of health and economic development of the state. The history of Benue State as a whole will be incomplete without the contributions of the late Military Administrator”, the governor noted.

The Governor prays to God to grant his immediate family members, friends, the people of Benue and Ondo States, and Nigeria as a whole, the fortitude to bear the great loss. He prayed to God to grant the soul of the late Obademi eternal rest.
