Gov Matawalle approves constitution of 6 man committee on repair of unserviceable vehicles

From Abba Kabara,  Gusau. 

Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara state has approved the constitution of six man committee for the repair of unserviceable vehicles and plants in the state.
The Governor who announced this through the Secretary to the state Government (SSG) Alhaji Bala Bello Maru, said the constituted committee has the state Commissioner for Budget Alahji Ibrahim Jibo Magayaki as its Chairman.


Contained in a statement signed by the Press Secretary to the office of the SSG Alhaji Idris Salisu,  discloses that other members of the committee include commissioner education  Alhaji Aliyu Moh’d Tukur (ES),  commissioner for Special Duties Alhaji Moh’d Sadiq Maiturare Bungudu,  and Commissioner for Higher education Alhaji Abdullahi Moh’d G/Bore. 
According to the statement,  the Permanent secretary General Services Alhaji Aliyu Bello Maradun  and Moh’d Abdullahi Shinkafi as Secretary and Assistant Secretary respectively.
The terms of reference are according to the official statement, to identify all Government vehicles and plants that require major repairs, to identify the vehicles and plants that are beyond repairs and recommend appropriate decision to take on them, and also produce a comprehensive information on the vehicles/plants, containing Chassis No., vehicle make and year of manufacture.


Other terms of reference include  identifying the kind of services required, the cost implication as well as end of each vehicle and  make and submit video and photo copies of the vehicles and plants identified.
