Gov. Ododo Mourns the Passing of Akwa Ibom First Lady, Patience Umo Eno

Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo on Saturday expressed his condolences to the government and people of Akwa Ibom State following the death of the First Lady, Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, who passed away on Thursday.

In a statement issued in Lokoja, Governor Ododo conveyed his shock over the demise of Mrs. Eno, noting her vital role in supporting Governor Umo Eno throughout his administration, which has spanned over a year.

Governor Ododo described Mrs. Patience Umo Eno as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose charitable initiatives positively impacted the lives of women and vulnerable individuals in Akwa Ibom State.

He prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul and asked for divine comfort for her immediate family and the people of Akwa Ibom as they mourn her loss.

Mrs. Patience Umo Eno passed away on Thursday at the age of 57 after a brief illness.
