Governor Oborevwori Urges Unity and Harmony for Sustainable Development

Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has called on Nigerians to embrace unity and harmony, emphasizing that sustainable peace is essential for meaningful development in the country.

Governor Oborevwori made the statement on Monday while hosting internationally renowned Jewish Christian Gospel Preacher, Rabbi Kirt Schneider, at the Government House in Asaba.

Promoting Faith-Based Partnerships

During the courtesy visit, Governor Oborevwori praised Rabbi Schneider for his dedication to evangelism and spiritual growth. He highlighted Delta State’s commitment to fostering partnerships with faith-based organizations, noting their role in promoting peace and development.

“Today is another testament to the strong partnership between our government and faith-based organizations,” Oborevwori stated. “We welcome anyone who comes to pray and bless our state, as we believe peace is the foundation for sustainable development.”

The governor commended Rabbi Schneider’s ministry, which he described as a source of hope and love, and acknowledged its impact in saving lives and fostering unity.

Rabbi Schneider’s Mission

Rabbi Kirt Schneider, on his part, revealed that his visit to Delta State was part of a soul-winning crusade aimed at sparking revival in Nigeria and across Africa. He shared his personal encounter with Christ over 40 years ago, which fueled his passion for spreading the gospel to over 200 nations.

Rabbi Schneider praised Governor Oborevwori for prioritizing faith in his administration and offered prayers for continued peace and prosperity in Delta State. He reminded attendees of the importance of maintaining a close relationship with God as the ultimate solution to humanity’s challenges.

Special Prayers for Delta State

The visit concluded with special prayers led by Rabbi Schneider for Delta State, its leaders, and the people. Governor Oborevwori expressed gratitude for the spiritual blessings and reiterated the state’s commitment to overcoming challenges through collaboration and faith.

This visit underscores the importance of unity and spiritual leadership in driving sustainable development and fostering hope amid national challenges.
