Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, has lauded President Bola Tinubu for facilitating increased monthly allocations to all states, affirming that this boost enables state governments to fulfill their development responsibilities to citizens.
Governor Sule expressed gratitude to President Tinubu for the enhanced revenue allocations, emphasizing that with this financial support, states are well-positioned to undertake various infrastructural projects and meet other essential obligations.
He highlighted that his administration has embarked on extensive infrastructure development initiatives across the state, leveraging the improved revenue allocations.
“We want to thank President Ahmed Bola Tinubu for ensuring that all states, including Nasarawa State, receive enhanced revenue every month. With this increased revenue, our commitment to developmental projects becomes achievable,” Governor Sule remarked.
He disclosed that his administration has initiated groundbreaking ceremonies for several infrastructural projects, including the construction of a flyover and an underpass in Lafia, the state capital.
Governor Sule elaborated on the significance of these projects, stating that besides enhancing the aesthetics of Lafia, they will elevate the city’s status to that of a modern state capital.
“We are commencing construction around the Emir’s Palace Roundabout. Due to our improved financial position, we are not only constructing an underpass but also building a flyover at the Total Filling Station junction and extending it to the roundabout,” he elaborated.
