Governor Tambuwal’s Budget Of Accomplishments And Sustainable Development

By Ibrahim Goronyo, Sokoto
It emphasizes no less, but the commitment of the Tambuwal’s administration towards the completion of the ongoing development projects spread across Sokoto state as well as conceptualization of others with direct bearing on the lives of the citizenry. It again tells the reality of the economic knocks on the landscape; a phenomenon that pushed for adjustments and realignments to conform solely with the needs and aspirations of the people in key areas- such as education, health, agriculture and in other critical infrastructures that could accelerate the pace of development in Sokoto state.
According to a media professional, Kabiru Umar Sokoto the ‘budget of accomplishments and sustainable development’ tag embedded in the year 2022, is therefore apt. It’s not just the amplification of the resolve in the aforesaid sectors of development but goes also to depict in clear terms the administration is positioned to fulfill its covenants with the electorate.
The over N188 billion earmarked, after a conscientiously packaged inputs, means Sokoto state is on course to achieving optimum results as far as 2022  is concerned. For the year 2021, on another hand, it merits asserting, numerous successes had been recorded despite the security challenges in some parts of the state.
People of goodwill have a good role, as their prayers count a lot towards accomplishing the glad tidings contained in the current budget for sustainable development in Sokoto state.
