Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum has appointed Dauda Iliya as his official spokesperson and Special Adviser on Media, following the death of Mallam Isa Gusau in February 2024.

The governor announced this decision in a statement released on Friday by his Senior Special Assistant on New Media, Abdurrahman Ahmed Bundi.
