Governor Zulum Cancels Commissioning Of Project In Honour Of Slain Army General, 3 Others In Chibok

Borno state Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, has cancelled his scheduled tour of projects due for  commissioning in honour of Brigade Commander, Brigadier General Dzarma Zirkushu  and three soldiers who were killed in a battle with terrorists in an attempt to capture a military base in Askira-Uba local government area.
The tour which was slated for Tuesday for commissioning of dozens of completed projects, mostly schools and healthcare centres, would now be used for condolences to family of the fallen hero.
Announcing the postponement, Zulum’s spokesman, Malam Isa Gusau, said the Governor will undertake the commissioning tour after he returns from the  visit of the family of late General Zirkisu who lived outside Borno State.
Governor ZULUM is expected to condole and convey deepest sympathy of  Government and people of Borno State to the deceased family.
