Group lauds Tinubu’s appointment of APC chairman as pro -chancellor of Tarawa Balewa varsity

By Achadu Gabriel, Kaduna

A Pro-Tinubu group operating under the aegis of Renewed Hope Solidarity Forum has applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing the Chairman of Kaduna State Chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC), Air Commodore E. K. Jekada (Rtd), as Chairman of Governing Council and Pro-Chancellor of Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi.

The group, in a press statement signed by its Director General, Otunba Olusegun Folorunso, described the appointment of the APC Chieftain, Mr. Jekada, (PhD) as Chairman of the Governing Council of Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi, as most disserving.

They also described the appointment as a motivating tonic and reward for Air Commodore E. K. Jekada, who played a Trojan role as a major Armour Bearer of the Tinubu/Shettima 2023 Campaign organization.

A voluntary association of Nigerians committed to the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed (GCFR), it also commended the Secretary to the Federal Government (SSG) Senator George Akume; as well as the Supervisory Head of all Governing Councils of Tertiary Institutions in the country and the Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Maman (OON, SAN) for their meritorious choice of Air Commodore E. K. Jekada.

The group therefore assured that the Kaduna State born technocrat whose public service record cut across the Nigeria Air Force, National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies Kuru Jos, and National Emergency Management Agency, “will justify his appointment through quality exemplary leadership”.
