Group urge national leadership, President elect Tinubu to intervene in Plateau APC crisis

Accuses APC critical stakeholders of large scale anti party

All Progressives Congress (APC) group in Plateau state has called on the party’s National leaders to intervene in the crisis in the state chapter before the governorship election which is to set to hold on Saturday.

The group added that most of this stakeholders in the APC worked against the party in the recently conducted Presidential election conducted in the state .

The group operating under the aegis of Youths for Positive Change in Plateau alleged that several stakeholders in the state including the Minister , a House of representatives as well as several other leaders including aspirants of the party who lost out in the primaries in the state are ganging up to ensure that the party Governorship Candidate Dr Nentawe Yilwatda loses the election on Saturday.

The group led by Lazarus Samson Atang in a statement said we call on the leadership of the party ,led by Senator Adullahi Adamu to intervene .

” We call on the President elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu to also call aggrieved members especially aspirants to other as they are all involve in anti party activities .”

As a group we can not pretend and say all is well ,we need the intervention of the President elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu and members of the APC in Plateau

” As we go into the Governorship and house of assembly elections ,we are worried over the attitude of some members of the APC who are largely involved in anti party activities and want the party to lose in the forthcoming governorship election just for their personal and selfish reasons.”

” The APC has been enmeshed in crisis since the emergence of the APC Governorship Candidate Dr Nentawe Yilwatda who won the primaries is widely accepted by citizens of the state .

They added that ” Some aggrieved aspirants who lost out of the primaries are working seriously to ensure the party APC loses the Governorship polls in the state while the PDP in the state is coming with so much vengeance .

“We urge all stakeholders especially the National body if the party and the the President elect Bola Tinubu to intervene immediately “,they added .
