Gunmen invade Taraba community

Two persons in Jalingo have been confirmed dead by the police in Taraba and three others Kidnapped as gunmen invaded Gullum community in Jalingo the headquarters of Taraba state.

Police spokeman, ASP David Misal confirmed the incident while speaking with our Correspondent in Jalingo.

According to the Police boss the suspected kidnappers in their numbers invaded the community around twelve midnight of Sunday when the people were all sleeping.

“The suspected kidnappers invaded the community and have been shooting guns speradically, thereby putting the community in to confusion”.

As in the time of filing this report our Correspondent reports that the situation in the area remained calm as security agency were seen patronizing the community for normal businesses.
