The motion to vacate in the House of Representatives resulted in a 216-210 vote, with eight Republicans supporting the ousting of McCarthy as Speaker. These GOP members included:

3. Representative Tim Burchett from Tennessee
4. Representative Eli Crane from Arizona
5. Representative Bob Good from Virginia
6. Representative Nancy Mace from South Carolina
7. Representative Matt Rosendale from Montana
8. Representative Matt Gaetz from Florida
