Hon. Venman Bulus Distributes Food Items to Communities in Langtang North

By Israel Adamu

The Member representing Langtang North and South Federal Constituency, Hon. Prince Vincent Venman Bulus, has distributed food and relief items to several communities in Langtang North Local Government Area of Plateau State. The outreach, carried out on Tuesday, targeted communities within Gani Chiefdom as part of the lawmaker’s ongoing humanitarian support to his constituents. The distribution exercise was conducted on behalf of Hon. Bulus by his Personal Assistant, Mr. Nanbur Kasam. He led the delegation to the four districts that make up Gani Chiefdom—Pil Gani, Tullum, Yakot, and Zabwai—where the relief items were formally handed over to community representatives.

The items distributed included bags of rice, cooking oil, spaghetti, salt, maize, seasoning cubes, mosquito nets, and other essential food supplies. According to organizers, the gesture was aimed at easing the economic hardship currently being faced by households across the chiefdom.

Community leaders described the intervention as timely, noting that many families are struggling with rising living costs. The relief materials, they said, would provide temporary support to vulnerable households within the districts.Receiving the items on behalf of the communities, the Chief of Gani Chiefdom, Col. Dauda Nimmyel (rtd), alongside district heads, expressed appreciation to Hon. Venman Bulus. They commended the lawmaker for what they described as a consistent show of concern for the welfare of his people. The traditional rulers noted that such gestures reflect a strong commitment to grassroots development and responsive leadership. They encouraged the representative to sustain the initiative and continue prioritising the needs of rural communities.

Speaking during the distribution, Mr. Kasam said the outreach reflected Hon. Bulus’ dedication to improving the living conditions of his constituents. He stated that the lawmaker remains committed to inclusive representation and ensuring that no community within Langtang North and South Federal Constituency is left behind.

According to him, the intervention is part of broader efforts by Hon. Bulus to provide practical support to constituents, particularly during periods of economic difficulty. He added that similar initiatives would continue as part of the representative’s people-focused agenda.Observers say the exercise reinforces Hon. Venman Bulus’ leadership style, which places emphasis on direct engagement and community support. Residents of the benefiting communities described the outreach as impactful and called for sustained collaboration between elected officials and grassroots leaders.
