Twenty-Eight kidnapped Bethel high School Students Kaduna have been reportedly released by the bandits without payment of ransome.
Although the circumstances and conditions attached to the released of the 28 students on Sunday have not yet been made public.
The Chairman Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Kaduna state who released the information to journalsts in Kaduna Sunday however disclosed that 80 of students are still left behind in bandits captivity as scores escaped earlier.
The CAN Chairman Joseph John Hayap, said the freed 28 students would be reunited with their parents at the school premises. He also revealed that quite a number of the students escaped from the kidnappers den, before Sunday, “while 80 are still in captivity, but they are hopeful that more would be released soon and eventually all the students.
“Hayab thanked Nigerians for their prayers, moral and physical support, urging all to sustain the spirit till everyone in captivity regains their freedom”, they stated.It will be recalled that over a hundred students of the school were abducted twenty days ago at the school premises while two soldiers lost their lives trying to rescue them
