Human right Activist condemned killings in Wukari

A human right activist in Taraba who double the Director General DG, Luka Agbu Memorial Foundation Mr Mathias Luka Agbu has condemned in strong terms the recent spate of killings in Wukari do to Political thuggery, were Lives were lost and dreams been shattered hopes battered and potentials been truncated.

Mathias Luka who was speaking with newsmen in Wukari, condemned the activities of the use of thugs during political rally by politicians and urged youths to shun any politicians who is coming to used them on thuggery to destroyed their futures as leaders of tomorrow.

The DG Luka Agbu Foundation said “We cannot afford to keep losing our vibrant youths to one political unrest after the other. This is why some of us emphasize education, job provisions, empowerment schemes and other programs aimed at freeing our young men and women from political thuggery, and from the grip of politicians who are in the game only for their selfish interests, not minding who dies or who lives”.

He called for calm among our teeming youths and ask for relevant authorities to bring the perpetrators to book. I am also pleading with the politicians to put an end to this type of politics and politicking where lives would to be lost for whatever reasons.

He appealed to politicians not to sabotage the destinies and rights of young people as Posterity will judge them all.

Luka condol with does who’s families are bereaved by the recent attack in Wukari and pray that Almighty will grant them the fortitude to bear this loss.
