Hunters Find Bodies of Suspected Bandits in Kaduna Forest

By   Milcah    Tanimu

Two hunters in Kurmin-Kare village, located in the Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State, have reportedly discovered two bodies believed to be those of bandits. The bodies were found on Monday on a rocky hill, following a gun battle between soldiers and bandits in Mai-Iddo village last Saturday.

The gunfight occurred during a military raid on the bandits’ hideout, which resulted in the rescue of four abducted farmers, including a female victim. Sources confirm that the two corpses, riddled with bullet wounds, are suspected to be among the bandits who fled the soldiers’ onslaught.

The village chief confirmed the discovery, though the state police spokesperson, ASP Hassan Mansur, has yet to provide official confirmation of the report.
