Husband Allegedly Kills Wife in Lagos over Cooking Dispute

In the Olota area of Alimosho Local Government Area, Lagos, an unidentified husband is accused of murdering his wife after an argument over her failure to cook his preferred meal. The husband, upon returning from work, was displeased to find only noodles prepared. Witnesses report that the situation escalated, leading to the husband hitting the wife on the head and beating her severely. Neighbors discovered the wife in distress and convulsing, prompting a failed attempt to rush her to the hospital. Although the husband has been reportedly arrested, the Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, has not confirmed this information. The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation.
