He expressed disappointment with the leadership of the APC in the state over boycotting of stakeholders meeting in the state.

Governor Ortom pointed out that the reasons advanced by the party for declining participation were miss representation of facts, disclosing that he has never insulted the President as claimed by the APC.

Reacting to the planned privatization of Government’s owned enterprises, Ortom noted that the move was in line with the Benue State law on privatization.

The Publicty Secretary of the APC in Benue State, Mr James Ornguga had said the party participated in such meetings in the past but their recommendations were not implemented, hence the decision to boycott the last one.
