I will Follow Gov Alia’s Progressive steps, Agema BIRS Boss Assures

The Acting Executive Chairman, Benue Internal Revenue Service, BIRS, Mr Emmanuel Agema has pledged to follow the progressive steps of Benue State Governor, Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia, in positively changing Benue narrative through efficient, effective revenue generation and tax administration in the state.

Mr Agema who gave this assurance when Mbangur Women paid him a courtesy visit at the revenue house, applauded Governor Alia, over his unwavering commitment and zeal to develop Benue state.

A statement by the Media Assistant to the Executive Chairman BIRS, Jacinta Bernard, quoted his Boss as further assuring that he will continue to do his best in the area of revenue generation and tax administration, remain steadfast, proactive and employ strategies necessary for faster development of the state.

The Tax Boss Implored Mbangur Women to rejoice and celebrate as Benue citizens are reaping good dividends of democracy through their son, the governor whom he said history will forever remember.

Earlier, the Mbangur Women lauded Mr Emmanuel Agema, over his wonderful and transformative work at the service. They prayed to God to grant Governor Alia more wisdom to enable him achieve greater things for the state.
