By Achadu Gabriel, Kaduna

Presidential Elections Petition Tribunal Chairman, Justice Haruna Simon Tsamani has called on churches to pray for him and his family, alleging he is under pressure to subvert Justice.

The chairman reportedly made the assertion through family members after undue pressure but leaked to the public domain through church members.
“He asked that the church should pray for him and his family as he is under serious pressure to subvert justice”, sources close to family have revealed.

This is coming shortly after the major lawsuit filed on behalf of Abuja Residents/Voters, at the Federal High Court Abuja, to stop the swearing in on May 29th 2023, until the determination of the question of 25% vote requirement of the FCT, as stated in our constitution, is determined by the Election Petition Tribunal.

“That means, if the Presidential Election Tribunal likes they can keep delaying, but this, injunction will ensure that our Constitutional Democracy is Preserved, and Nobody will be sworn in who did not fulfill the constitutional requirement”, said a simpathizers.
