In Nasarawa: Traditional, opinion Leaders advised to enroll on the CERRR in the state

Nasarawa State Coordinator of the National Social Safety Nets ProgrammeHussaini Adamu Musa has advised traditional and opinion leaders to embark on awareness on the need for people to enroll in the Covid Nineteen Emmergency Rapid Response Register in the state.

Alh. Musa gave the advise in Toto and Keffi local government areas in continuation of the advocacy and sensitization visit in the state.

Alh. Musa revealed that the advice became necessary to enable the people whose income were affected by the pandemic to enroll and be prospective beneficiaries of the programme.

The head of State Operation Coordinating Unit SOCU encouraged prospective beneficiaries in the selected electoral wards in Nasarawa State to avail themselves of the golden opportunity to benefit.

Receiving the team on behalf of the chairman, Chief of staff to Toto Local Government Council Alhaji Sani Mohammed appreciated the Federal Government for the move to assist the less privileged in the society calling for synergy between local government desk officers and stakeholders in the enlightenment process.

While in Keffi, the local government council chairman represented by the Director of personnel management Umar Dantani Ladan described the programme as right step in the right direction,.

Given his Royal blessing, the Emir of Keffi Alhaji Shehu Chindo Yamusa advised that only eligible people should enroll to curtail any move to jeopardize government good intention for the masses.
