Insecurity: FG’s ploy to distract Nigerians from monitoring politicians looting the treasury – SDP Presidential Aspirant

By Joyce Remi-Babayeju

A Presidential Aspirant under the umbrella of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Prince Adewole Adebayo has accused the Federal Government of using insecurity in the country as a ploy to distract Nigerians while government officials loot the nation’s treasury.

Adebayo made this statement on Thursday in Abuja while delivering a lecture titled “Economic Imperatives for Sustainable Nigeria
at the flag- off of the Economics Consultative Forum, a green and a book launch ‘Break the box, written by the convener, Enejo James.

Prince Adebayo said that the reason why Boko Haram members are walking around is because some integral politicians have handed the rest of the country to them and allow them to carry out their nefarious activities freely.

“If the President of Nigeria wants to eradicate Boko Haram in 20 days, he will eradicate Boko Haram in 20 days; if he does not want bandits in seven days, there will be no bandits. If the President of Nigeria doesn’t want one chance in Abuja. There will be no one chance in Abuja in five days. ”

“Those problems are there to send Nigerians to pray in mosques , in churches and to keep them busy while they steal from the coffers.”

According to the SDP presidential aspirant, Nigeria was first registered at the London Economic space by the Royal Nigeria Company London Economic an economic entity before it transited into a political entity.

Prince Adebayo further argued that the problem the country is facing now is more of economic insecurity.

He said that Nigerians are very disappointed that those bought forms to change the narrative quitted to remain in a failed system.

The Presidential Aspirant urged Nigerians to identity with a vision that would lift the nation out of the present quagmire by reworking the concepts of state following the Nigerian Constitution as against being run as an economic entity to serve the interest of the few persons in power.

Adebayo said Nigeria has huge resources that makes her people wealthy even at birth but lack of intelligent leadership enmeshed with character and value to turn things around has been the problem.

He said: “I will l handle Nigeria as an economic entity and economic enterprise. Why is Nigeria an economic enterprise? Making a lot of income but declaring a loss?

“Nigeria is like a bank that every year collects a lot of money and they declare loss every time no matter what happens they declare loss. But those who are managing it are getting richer.” That has to change, Adebayo stressed.
