Insecurity: Kaduna CAN organizes special prayer service

Following the prevailing security challenges being faced across the country ahead of the 2023 general elections, the Christian Association Of Nigeria (CAN) Kaduna State Chapter is organising a session titled “Special Prayer, Political and Security Service.
The prayer session scheduled for coming Sunday, is contained in a memo circulated to CAN LGA Executives, Pastors and Church Leaders in Kaduna Central Senatorial District.

“Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I write to notify you that the Christian Association of Nigeria, (CAN) Kaduna State, in her effort to update and guide Christ’s flock under her care on contemporary issues at this trying times has scheduled to hold a special prayer and political/security”.
The memo, is signed by Kaduna CAN Secretary, Rev. Caleb Bawa Ma’aji.
It explained that, “this is to define a way forward for the Church amidst these burning issue and the future of our dear state Kaduna and nation at large.

“This meeting is slated for your central senatorial zone as follows:
Date: 7th August, 2022
Time: 2:00pm prompt
Venue: ECWA English Service (Blue Roof) by Ostrich Sabon Tasha, Kaduna,” it informed.

It directed that by the notification and invitation, each pastor/church leader is expected to come with
at least four (4) delegates for the all important service.

“Thanks immensely for your usual cooperation and praying to see you as scheduled,” it concluded.
