“IPMAN Urges Nigerians to Embrace CNG as Petrol Subsidy Removed”

The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has encouraged Nigerians to adopt compressed natural gas (CNG) as a viable alternative to petrol in light of the recent subsidy removal. During a public hearing in Abuja, IPMAN’s national president, Chinedu Okoronkwo, emphasized the significance of CNG as a long-term solution to the nation’s energy needs.

He urged the House of Representatives’ ad hoc committee to support the development of the CNG market. Despite the challenges posed by subsidy removal, Okoronkwo asserted that CNG could offer relief and savings for consumers, presenting an opportunity to fill their tanks at a lower cost and continue their businesses efficiently.
