The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has encouraged Nigerians to adopt compressed natural gas (CNG) as a viable alternative to petrol in light of the recent subsidy removal. During a public hearing in Abuja, IPMAN’s national president, Chinedu Okoronkwo, emphasized the significance of CNG as a long-term solution to the nation’s energy needs.

He urged the House of Representatives’ ad hoc committee to support the development of the CNG market.
