Jadda Garko Appeals to Vice President’s Wife, Nana Shettima, to Inform VP and Agriculture Minister Kyari That Tinubu Is Not Her Husband’s Enemy

By Jabiru Hassan

Renowned singer, staunch All Progressives Congress (APC) supporter, and Renewed Hope Ambassador, Alhaji Jadda Garko, expressed his profound disappointment and concern regarding the perceived indifference of the Minister of Agriculture, Abubakar Kyari, toward President Bola Tinubu’s loyal supporters.

Addressing the press in Kano, Garko made an impassioned plea to Nana Kashim Shettima, the wife of Vice President Kashim Shettima, urging her to convey a clear message to her husband. He stressed that President Tinubu is not only beloved by the Vice President but that there should be no misunderstanding or perceived hostility between them.

“As a steadfast supporter of President Tinubu’s vision and the APC, I implore Mrs. Shettima to ask the Vice President to inform Minister Kyari of the President’s concerns and help resolve this growing issue, which threatens party unity,” Garko emphasized.

He alleged that Minister Kyari’s actions have shown a troubling disregard for Tinubu’s loyalists, citing both personal experiences and widespread concerns among party members.

“The Minister’s behavior has caused alarm and frustration, especially in the northern region,” Garko noted. He clarified that his appeal was not meant to criticize Minister Kyari but to foster harmony and address the rising concerns while upholding the core values of the APC.

“We deeply value the strong relationship between President Tinubu and Vice President Shettima, and the unity they demonstrate is admirable,” Garko added.

Despite efforts by key APC figures, including National Chairman Dr. Abdullah Umar Ganduje, Minister of Defense Badaru Abubakar, and Deputy Senate President Senator Barau, to resolve the issue, Garko expressed disappointment that no meaningful solution had been reached.

“Unfortunately, all attempts to resolve this matter have failed so far, increasing concerns among loyal supporters and threatening party unity, particularly among those in Kano and Adamawa,” Garko remarked.

He praised Vice President Shettima’s unwavering commitment to supporting President Tinubu’s vision and maintaining national unity, urging all stakeholders to engage in constructive dialogue to ensure the continued success of the APC.

“As loyal supporters, we must remain united in our pursuit of a prosperous Nigeria. I call on everyone to come together, work towards progress, and build a brighter future for generations to come,” Garko concluded.
