Jigawa APC primaries: Governor Badaru inaugurates reconciliation committee

The Jigawa state Governor Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has inaugurate main reconciliation committee to reconcile all aggrieved members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state ahead of 2019 general election.

The committee was inaugurated at the Manpower Development Institute, in Dutse, said that the main committee was headed by Lawan Inuwa danzomo was saddled the responsibility to set up three committees at zonal levels ,also the zonal committees to set up sub-committees at local government level with a view to meet the aggrieved members of the party for reconciliation.

Governor Badaru said committees would bring unity among party members and also clear some misunderstandings after the conduct of party primaries in the state.

He explained that he was accused and the party by some party members for imposition of candidates during the just concluded primaries.

He also admitted that some party loyalist who work to ensure victory of the party in the 2015 general election were forgotten.

He appealed to the party members to set aside all differences and their grievances and work harder to ensure the victory of the party in the next election.

The state APC chairman , Alhaji Ado Sani Kiri said the party will continue to work with supporters ahead of the forthcoming general elections, and urged the committee members to be fair and just in the discharge of their assignment.

He said the committees was given two weeks to reconciled with all aggrieved party members and submit their report to clear more ways to campaign for 2019 general election.
