The burial arrangement banner for the late Nigerian actor, Junior Pope, has surfaced online, drawing significant attention.

Mr. Odonwodo, popularly known as Junior Pope, along with four other crew members, tragically lost their lives when their boat capsized in the Anam River in Anambra State on April 10 while returning from a movie shoot.

Out of the 12 individuals aboard the ill-fated boat, seven were rescued alive, while five, including Mr. Odonwodo, unfortunately, passed away.

The burial arrangements for Mr. Odonwodo commenced on April 23 with a requiem mass at Saint John-Mary Vianney Parish, Asaba, Delta State, as announced by his family via the actor’s burial poster.

According to the burial announcement signed by Divine Odonwodo on behalf of the family, another requiem mass is scheduled to take place at Christ the King Catholic Parish, G.R.A, Enugu on May 13.

On May 14, an evening of tributes and candlelight will be held at Amadeo Event Centre in Enugu starting from 5 p.m.

On May 16, a wake will be held at his country home in Uwala Abaka, Ukehe, a community in Igbo-Etiti Local Government Area of the state.

The Nollywood actor will be laid to rest on Friday, May 17, at his country home after a burial mass at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church, Ukehe. Interment will immediately follow the burial ceremony.
