Gunmen Kill Kaduna state house of Assembly Member, others

The Chairman, Committee on Local Governmnet and Rural Development, Kaduna State House of Assembly, Hon. Rilwanu Aminu Gadagau, has been reportedly killed by bandits, the Clerk, Kaduna state House of Assembly has confirmed.
Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Ibrahim Zailani who also confirmed the information describing it as devastating.
The Speakers statement was contained in a release signed by his SA Media and Publicity Hon. Mr Ibrahim Dahiru Danfulani, dated Wednesday December 15, 2021.
It informed that the remains of the victim lawmaker were discovered in a morgue on Wednesday, suspected to have been on of those killed by bandits on Monday night along Kaduna-Zaria Highway.
According to the statement, the lawmaker died during bandits attack along Zaria highway, along with other road users on Monday night.
“This is tragic and painful. We are in deep grief over this sad incident,” Zailani said.
While he mourned the victim, he also prayed for Almighty Allah to grant the State, Assembly and his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
The Speaker also prayed for Almighty Allah to grant him Aljannah Firdaus.
“Our prayers at this time, goes to his immediate family. Honourable Gadagau was a young and dynamic lawmaker, who had a passion for his constituency, state and NIgeria.
“We will miss his vibrant contributions,” he declared.
The Speaker also commiserated with families of others who were killed during the same attack.
“Our hearts also go out to those kidnapped in same operation, believing that they would be rescued by security operatives as soon as possible,” he said.
Before his death, Honorable Gadagau was the Chairman House Committee on Local Government.
