JUST IN: CDCFIB Shifts Recruitment Portal Opening to July 14

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced a postponement of the opening date for its recruitment portal. Originally scheduled to open on Thursday, June 26, 2025, the portal will now officially open on Monday, July 14, 2025.

The update was disclosed in a public notice signed by the Secretary to the Board and shared with journalists on Wednesday.

The recruitment portal serves as the official platform for prospective applicants seeking to join Nigeria’s key paramilitary agencies, including the:

  • Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)
  • Nigeria Correctional Service
  • Federal Fire Service
  • Nigeria Immigration Service

While the board did not provide a specific reason for the change, it attributed the delay to a schedule adjustment.

“The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) wishes to notify the general public that its recruitment portal, earlier slated to open on Thursday, 26th June 2025, will now open on Monday, 14th July 2025,” the statement read.

Interested applicants are advised to take note of the new date and prepare accordingly.
