Just In : Coronavirus: Adamawa May Have Recorded First Case

Adamawa state may have recorded its first covid-19 case, on Wednesday.

A Kano resident who returned last week and submitted himself for confirmation, called and confirmed his status.

He has been on self isolation when he returned from Kano last week.

He said, “I got a call from the covid-19 containment committee this morning, informing me that my result showed I’m positive for the virus”, he said.

The state covid-19 containment committee, has yet to officially confirm the case.

When contacted, Chairman of the committee, who is also the Secretary to the State Government, Bashiru Ahmad, simply replied, “I will call you back”.
