JUST IN: Fuad Kayode-Laguda Secures APC Ticket for Surulere 1 Constituency House of Representatives By-Election

In a recent development, financial expert and public servant, Fuad Kayode-Laguda, has emerged as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Surulere 1 Constituency House of Representatives by-election. The APC primary election, determining the candidate for the upcoming bye-election scheduled for February 3, 2024, was held at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.

Kayode-Laguda secured the party’s nomination to fill the vacant seat left by the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila. Gbajabiamila represented the Surulere 1 Constituency before being appointed as Chief of Staff by President Bola Tinubu.
