JUST IN: Nigeria Advances to AFCON Semi-Finals with 1-0 Victory Over Angola

In a thrilling match at the Felix Houphouet-Boigny Stadium in Abidjan, the Super Eagles of Nigeria secured a spot in the AFCON semi-finals by defeating Angola with a lone goal from Ademola Lookman in the 41st minute.

The closely contested battle demonstrated the resilience and skill of the Nigerian team, marking a significant step toward AFCON glory.

Despite some intense moments, Nigeria’s victory was solidified, and they now await their next challenge in the semi-finals. The match featured four yellow cards, with the Palancas Negras receiving three and Nigeria receiving one. The Senegalese referee, Issa Sy, made a critical decision by overruling a 75th-minute header from Napoli striker Victor Osihmen.
