Veteran Nollywood actor Dayo Adewunmi, widely known as Sule Suebebe, has passed away.

The acclaimed Yoruba actor died early Wednesday morning at an undisclosed hospital in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

The news of his passing was announced by Pastor Ademola Amusan, also known as Agbala Gabriel, who had been caring for the late actor for several months. Pastor Amusan shared the news on his Facebook page, stating, “It’s a pity, Baba Suebebe died at the hospital this morning. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.”

Suebebe had been under Pastor Amusan’s care due to an undisclosed ailment. Pastor Amusan had previously raised financial support for him through his humanitarian outreach program on Facebook.

In a viral video, Suebebe, known for his roles in the Yoruba-speaking sector of the film industry, reflected on his past, admitting that he had lived a reckless life when he was younger.
