Kaduna: Foundation distributes food items to widows for Christmas

….Rice 70 bags

By Achadu Gabriel, Kaduna

In a heartwarming gesture of compassion and generosity, Caleb Danladi, a benevolent individual with a strong sense of community, recently donated 70 bags of rice to widows in various villages within Jaba Local Government Area (LGA) of Kaduna State.

This act of kind gesture took place as part of a special initiative to bring joy and relief to the widows during the Christmas season, according to statement in Kaduna on Sunday.

The recipients of Caleb Danladi’s goodwill were widows residing in Samban Gida, Samban Loko, Ungwan Zuma, Ungwan Kifi, Ungwan Rana, and Ungwan Sanyi, villages nestled in the heart of Jaba LGA.

These areas, like many others, often witness economic challenges, and the gesture of donating essential food items has become a significant contribution toward alleviating the burdens faced by the widows and their families.

“Christmas is a time of joy, unity, and compassion, and Caleb Danladi’s thoughtful donation resonates with the spirit of the season. The 70 bags of rice not only represent a substantial and practical gift but also symbolize a caring and empathetic community member who understands the needs of those less fortunate, especially during festive occasions.

“The impact of such a donation goes beyond the immediate relief of providing sustenance. It fosters a sense of solidarity within the community, demonstrating that the spirit of giving can make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals facing hardships.

“Moreover, it serves as an inspiration for others to consider acts of kindness and philanthropy, creating a ripple effect that can contribute to the overall well-being of the community.

“Caleb Danladi’s gesture exemplifies the power of individuals to make a positive impact on their communities, reminding us all that, regardless of our circumstances, we can contribute to creating a more compassionate and supportive society.
“As the widows in Samban Gida, Samban Loko, Ungwan Zuma, Ungwan Kifi, Ungwan Rana, and Ungwan Sanyi celebrate Christmas, they do so with a deeper sense of gratitude and connection, thanks to the generosity of a fellow community member who cared enough to make a difference in their lives”, it stated.

The Foundation had consistently being on side of widows and vulnerable in different communities in the area of Kaduna state overtimes.
