Kaduna: Group forms movement for Ekene for Chikun LG Chairmanship

A movement for the actualization of Ekene Abubakar Adams as Chairman Chikun local government area of kadu a state in the forthcoming 2021 state Council polls has been formed.

The body popularly known as Abello Movement, which comprised of representatives of various ethnic nationalities present in the local government areas expected to brand, rebrand and market Ekene Adams to win the 2021 Chikun Council poll and deliver on his campaign promises to be good people of the LG.

During a maiden meeting held in presence of the aspirants, members which includes Kaduna, Benue, plateau, kogi states, lgbo, Yoruba, Hausa Fulani among other indigenes agreed and conceded that the era of discrimination against non indigenes in elections in Kaduna state is over.

Accordingly to the movement, apart from causing retardation and creating division and bad blood, tribal discrimination in elections is responsible for lack of development, peace and Unity in South area of the state.
Ekene in his contribution said alot of things would be exposed if he wins Chikun the council boss, adding that even though his mother was a poor woman but they never Lacks for feeding and what each.

He also stated that nepotism, favouritism and discrimination that had taken the people and local government far back in terms of development would be layed to rest when he assume office as the Council Chairman.

Members after exhausted discussions agreed that inter and intra tribal and religious discrimination by Christian and Muslim would not form part of their campaigns ideology, adding that candidate would be the issue instead of party.
