Kaduna LG Polls: How PDP defeated El Rufai in his Polling Unit.

Governor Nasir El Rufai and the All Progressives Congress, (APC) suffered tragic lose in the Local Government  council polls held Saturday.

The Governor, after casting his vote at 01 Polling unit at Ungwar Sarki in Kaduna North Local Government Area, expressed confidence in the voting process and said the results of the poll would be accepted by all the parties involved in the election.


However, early returns from Polling 01, Ungwar Sarki, Kaduna North, showed that Governor Rufai’ lost his polling unit to the PDP.

The Presiding Officer, Mohammed Sani who  announced the results of the total votes cast for the Chairmanship position, said PDP polled 86 votes, while the APC came second with 62 votes, with the total votes cast put at 159.

Accordingly, the result of the councilor seat showed that the PDP won with a bigger margin of 100 to APC’s 52 votes.

A big lose to the number citizen of the state and the leader of the ruling party in the state.
