Recent reports by Daily Nigeria claiming that only three out of the 26 members of the Kano State House of Assembly are not part of the “Tsaya da Kafarka” movement are baseless, unfounded, and untrue.
This statement was made following the misleading report, emphasizing the unity and loyalty of the Kano State Assembly members. Kamaldadeen Sani Shawai, Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker, communicated this message to newsmen on Tuesday.
In presenting the Assembly’s position, the Majority Leader, Hon. Lawal Hussain, clarified that the claims made by the online newspapers are mere rumors and fake news.
Under the exemplary leadership of Falgore, all 26 members of the 10th House of Assembly stand in solidarity with Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and Executive Governor Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf.
Hon. Lawal Hussain also noted that there are malicious elements, both within and outside Kano, attempting to create divisions within the party for their selfish interests.
He condemned these unfounded claims, which lack evidence, characterizing them as attempts to provoke public discord.
The members of the Kano State House of Assembly remain united in their support for Kwankwaso and Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf.
It is crucial to understand that the Assembly members have not taken the “Tsaya da Kafarka” movement seriously, contrary to the insinuations made by the online media in this malicious publication.
