Kano Governor Extends Birthday Wishes to Aliko Dangote on His 67th Birthday

Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State has extended warm birthday greetings to Alhaji Aliko Dangote, the President of Dangote Group, as he celebrates his 67th birthday.

In a statement released by his Director-General of Media and Publicity, Sanusi Dawakin-Tofa, Governor Yusuf hailed Dangote as a distinguished figure from Kano whose philanthropy has positively impacted millions of lives in Nigeria and Africa.

Describing Dangote as a pillar of the nation’s economy, the governor emphasized his significant contribution to Africa’s growth and development.

“Kano, your birthplace, remains deeply appreciative of your humanitarian efforts, particularly your recent distribution of relief materials to millions of underprivileged individuals. Your willingness to collaborate and support our administration’s policies will undoubtedly foster social and economic progress in the state,” Governor Yusuf expressed.

He extended prayers for Dangote’s continued good health, wisdom, and longevity to continue his impactful contributions to humanity.

In another statement, Governor Yusuf offered condolences to the family and colleagues of Saratu Gidado, also known as Daso, a veteran actress in the Hausa film industry, who passed away at her home in Kano.

Reflecting on Daso’s career, the governor praised her portrayal of diverse characters that embodied values such as discipline, resilience, and ethical standards crucial for societal advancement.

He urged stakeholders in the Hausa film industry to emulate Daso’s commitment to fostering national unity and promoting peace.

“Daso was an advocate for religious and cultural harmony, contributing to peace and tranquility in Kano, Northern Nigeria, and beyond,” Governor Yusuf remarked.

He concluded by offering prayers for strength and solace to Daso’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.
