Kano Pillars sign 9 new players , retained 25 for 2021 season

Former Nigeria League Champions, Kano Pillars football club has recruited nine new players and retained 25 from its last squad as it prepares for the continental Confederation cup and the forthcoming 20/21 season.
The club extended it net to various club sides in Benin Republic, South Africa and Nigeria to drag the players to the ancient city .
The club Media Officer, Idris Rilwanu Malikawa in an exclusive interview with Daybreak Sports said the recruitment of the players and retention of the old players was done for the club to have a better head way in the new season.
Malikawa said the new players recruited include Jerome Hentched from South Africa, Frank Laura from Benin Republic, Abayomi Junior from 3SC of Ibadan, Nnaji David from El-Kanemi, Mustapha Jibrin from Niger Tornadoes, Monyor Williams from Wikki Tourist of Bauchi, Munkaila from Yobo Stars, Haruna Sule from Adamawa United and Ezekiel Tamara from Lobi Stars of Markudi.
He said the club was ready to take on the challenges ahead of it at the continental and national levels as the club management has set the task for the club to excel as its priority this season.
The media officer commended the Kano State government under the able leadership of Gov. Abdullah’ Umar Ganduje for its support to the club and said the club will reciprocate the gesture with good performance this season.
The Nigeria premier league is expected to commence on November 15 across the various centers in the country.
