Kano Spokeperson Honoured In Dawakin Tofa

Dawakin Tofa Model Primary School was agog when the the Chief Press Secretary to Kano state governor Malam Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa was Honoured by his friends and political associates on his recent appointment as the spokeperson of governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.

Our correspondent who graced the colourful event reported that diginiteries from all corners trooped into the field to witness the ceremony which was peaceful and historical as first of its kind for many years.

Most of those who spoke at the occassion described Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa as a hardworking person whose choice by the Kano state governor as his spokeperson remained supported by well meaning citizens across the stste.

In his remark, Malam Sule Yau Sule, former spokeperson to former governor of Kano state Malam Ibrahim Shekarau stated that the tasks of competent Press secretarie are very tough, full or challenges which needs extra caution.

He congratulated the new spokeperson for being appointed as image maker to kano state governor and thanked those who organised the ceremony for recognising their son as one of the figures in Kano state government.

Other speakers include Alhaji Mahmoud Bappa Yola, former Director General, Kwankwaso campaign and Kano state commissioner for Rural and community development, Professor Mainasara of Mass Communication department, Bayero University, Sani Abdulkadir Dembo former Managing Director Kano Internal Revenue and NNPP stalwarts.

Speaking at the event, Malam Sunusi Ahmed Bature Dawakin Tofa thanked all those who graced the occassion and assured that he would work selflessly for the success of NNPP government under the stewardship of Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf in order to move Kano state forward.
