Aminu Abdussalsm Gwarzo, the Deputy Governor of Kano State, led a delegation to extend condolences on behalf of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf to the Emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmad Nuhu Bamali, following the passing of his younger brother, Alhaji Mansur Nuhu Bamali. The visit took place at the Emir’s palace in Zaria, Kaduna State.

Alhaji Mansur Nuhu Bamali passed away in October while in transit to Morocco, during a layover at a private hospital in Lagos. Comrade Gwarzo expressed his sympathies during the visit and praised Alhaji Mansur’s humility, kindness, and simplicity, despite his distinguished royal lineage and extensive educational background.

In response, Emir Ahmad Nuhu Bamali expressed his gratitude for the condolences and prayed for the delegation’s safe journey back to Kano State. He also reflected on Alhaji Mansur’s life, highlighting his exemplary achievements and emphasizing the importance of his legacy. Before his passing, Alhaji Mansur Nuhu Bamali had served as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Morocco and held the distinguished title of Magajin Garin Zazzau.
