Katsina State Government has lauded the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) for a successful airstrike targeting a notorious bandit hideout in the Ruwan Godiya district of Faskari Local Government Area.

The operation, carried out by the Air Component of Operation FARAUTAR MUJIYA, significantly weakened the bandits’ operational capabilities, showcasing NAF’s dedication to safeguarding lives and property in the region.

Strategic Operation Based on Intelligence
Dr. Nasir Mu’azu, Katsina’s Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, praised the mission’s meticulous planning, which relied on credible local intelligence and rigorous surveillance. He noted that the operation had brought much-needed relief to nearby communities.

“This strike is a testament to the Nigerian Air Force’s professionalism and strategic approach to countering security threats. We commend their exceptional performance in restoring peace to our communities,” Mu’azu stated.

Call for Vigilance and Cooperation
The Commissioner urged residents to remain vigilant and cooperate with security agencies to sustain the progress achieved. He reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to partnering with military and security forces to maintain peace and stability across the region.

This successful strike marks a critical milestone in Katsina’s ongoing efforts to combat banditry and restore normalcy in affected areas.
