From Laiatu Bamaiyi in kebbi.

The Kebbi First Lady, Hajiya Zainab Nasare Nasir Idris, in collaboration with the State Coordinator of Renewed Hope Initiative, distributed 2,100 bags of rice to the less privileged and people with special needs as part of efforts to alleviate the current economic challenges in the country.

Of these bags, 1,200 were donated by the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, through the Renewed Hope Initiative, while 900 bags were procured by the Kebbi state government. The distribution took place in Birnin Kebbi, with the First Lady expressing gratitude to Sen. Remi Tinubu, President Bola Tinubu, and Governor Nasir Idris for their support.

The First Lady assured that all recipients in the 21 Local Government Areas of the state would receive their share through a card system.

She also appealed to parents to instill moral values in their children, highlighting the peaceful nature of Kebbi State during recent nationwide protests.

Various speakers at the event commended Governor Nasir Idris for his exemplary leadership and the First Lady for her dedication to the welfare of the people.

The achievements of the APC-led administration in the state were also highlighted by the Kebbi State APC Women leader, Hajiya Aisha Abubakar Gunabi.

Overall, the distribution of food palliatives to the needy in Kebbi State was a testament to the government’s commitment to improving the lives of its citizens.
