KEDCO Gets Task Force To Enforce Bills Payments, Check The Menace Of Meter Crossing

Kano electricity distribution company(KEDCO) has constituted a high-powerd task force to ensure the payments of electricity bills and to fight against meter crossing in the company’s franchise areas.

In a recent press statement which was signed and issued to our correspondent by the head of corporate communications Malam Ibrahim Sani Shawai, KEDCO announced that. “the formation of the task force is necessary because some customers usually refuses to pay for the services they enjoyed and it is important to use the task force in enforcing the payments”.

Furthermore, according to the statement, the task force has been empowered to ensure that bills payments is being actualized both current and outstanding balances so as to enable the company to serve the consumers more constant, and to check the habit of meter crossing that remained habitual in order to avoid experiencing faults due to over loadings.

In conclusion, the company assured that the issue of metering is introduced to ensure that accurate bills is received from customers and promised to continue serving consumers at Kano, Jigawa and Katsina catchment areas.
