The (KEDCO) has launched a self-service payment kiosk as part of efforts to enhance customer experience and improve service delivery across its franchise states.
Speaking at the official launch, the Managing Director of KEDCO, Mr. Abubakar Shu’aibu Jimeta, said the initiative is designed to ease bill payments, eliminate revenue leakages, and align the company’s operations with global service standards.
According to him, the new system will provide customers with a more convenient and efficient method of settling electricity bills compared to previous payment channels.
The project is a collaboration between KEDCO and , aimed at simplifying payment processes and enhancing operational efficiency.
Jimeta reaffirmed the company’s readiness to pursue additional partnerships that will strengthen service delivery, especially as efforts continue to improve power supply across , , and .
He assured customers of KEDCO’s commitment to prioritizing their needs.
“KEDCO management will continue to put customers in mind because our aims and objectives are focused on treating our customers better. I am optimistic that with new initiatives, things are going to be easier for consumers across the franchise states,” he said.
Also speaking at the event, the Managing Director of FUCIL DataTech Limited, Mrs. Chioma Eugenia Iwuagwu, pledged the company’s full support in ensuring the success of the partnership. She noted that the initiative reflects KEDCO’s commitment to improving customer satisfaction and modernizing its operations.
She commended KEDCO’s management for introducing strategies aimed at strengthening service delivery and supporting efforts toward more reliable power supply across its coverage areas.
