Keystone Bank reveals acting MD/CEO

Keystone Bank Limited on Saturday declared the arrangement of Abubakar Sule as its acting Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer.

The General Counsel and Company Secretary of the bank, Michael Agamah, said Mr Sule’s arrangement pursued the acquiescence of the previous Managing Director/CEO, Obeahon Ohiwerei, from office.

Mr Agamah said Mr Sule’s arrangement is liable to endorsement by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

The insight said the Mr Ohiwerei was leaving the bank to empower him seek after other individual premiums.

Mr Agamah said the board perceived and acknowledged Mr Obeahon’s commitments to the development of Keystone Bank.

Mr Sule is an alum of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria with degree in Accounting.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria; a Honourary Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria; a Governing Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.

An Alumnus of both the INSEAD (France) and Wharton Business School in Pennsylvania, USA, until his arrangement as Acting MD/CEO, Mr Sule was the Deputy Managing Director of Keystone Bank Limited.

He has more than 29 years of bleeding edge banking background with capabilities in Corporate Banking, Operations, Treasury Management, Credit Structuring, Corporate Planning, just as ownership of extremely solid relationship the board aptitudes.

Mr Sule likewise served quickly as the Managing Director of Sterling Capital Limited, the Investment Banking Subsidiary of Sterling Bank Plc in 2009.

While at Sterling Capital Limited, he was delegated by the CBN as a component of the Executive Management group to turnaround the fortunes of recent Intercontinental Bank Plc.

He in the long run came back to Sterling Bank Plc as Executive Director accountable for the North and Corporate Banking.
