…Mourns Slain Lawmaker

Chairman Northern Speakers Forum and Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon.Yusuf Ibrahim Zailani has expressed shock over the demise of member of Zamfara State House of Assembly, Honourable Muhammad J. Ahmad.
Zailani expressed this in a statement signed by his SA Media and Publicity, Ibrahim Dahiru Danfulani, which described his demise through the bullets of bandits as tragic.
“It is shocking and tragic that we lost a hard-working lawmaker in the calibre of Muhammad J. Ahmad. For his life to have been sniffed out by bandits is worrisome,” it stated.
The Chairman Northern Speakers Forum condemned the bandits for wasting the life of a promising lawmaker, while tasking law enforcement agencies to act and bring the culprits to Justice
It would be recalled that Honourable Ahmad of the Zamfara House of Assembly representing Shinkafi Constituency and chairman, committee on Budget was killed by unknown gunmen immediately after his decamping from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) on his way to Kano from Zamfara.
