The Governor of Kogi State, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has expressed condolences over the death of Justice Yahaya Adamu of the state High Court. In a statement issued by the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo, the government described the late judge as a respected member of the judiciary known for his commitment to justice, integrity, and the rule of law. The statement noted that Justice Adamu made significant contributions to the administration of justice in the state and was widely regarded within the legal community.
According to the government, efforts were made to provide medical care during his illness, but his death remains a significant loss to his family, the judiciary, and the state.Governor Ododo described the late jurist as a “reputable voice” in the justice system, adding that his experience and dedication to fairness would be remembered. He extended condolences to the family of the deceased, the Kogi State judiciary, and others affected by the loss, and prayed for comfort for those mourning.
