Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has extended condolences to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, over the death of his mother, Mama Lydia Goshwe Yilwatda.
In a condolence letter personally signed by him, the governor described the passing of Mama Lydia as a painful loss, noting that she lived a life of faith, love, and selfless service to God and humanity.
Ododo said the values she instilled in her children are evident in the contributions of Prof. Yilwatda to the APC and the nation at large.
“Mama Lydia’s peaceful spirit and enduring legacy will remain a source of strength and inspiration, not only to her family but to all who were touched by her life,” he wrote.
The governor assured the APC chairman of his prayers and support, while asking God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss and to grant Mama Lydia eternal rest.
