Man beats wife to stupor over lesbianism

There was pandemonium at a popular hotel around Ekotedo area of Ibadan over the weekend when a man caught his wife in the act of lesbianism.

cries of the 28-year-old woman woke up residence of the area early in the morning as she was alleged to have been terribly beaten by the husband.

It was gathered that the 28-year-old woman, identified as Mrs. Martha Ojeikere who resides in Benin had visited her stepfather who invited her for a discussion at Ibadan after being reported by her husband, Mr. Dickson.

The matter was settled between the couples and Mrs. Ojeikere decided to lodge at the hotel for the night because her husband had other engagements in town. But luck, however, ran against the woman when the husband who had checked on her early in the morning caught her in the act of lesbianism, with her female partner.

Dickson, who was visibly shocked lost his temper, descended heavily on her and beat her to stupor.

It was the weeping and crying of the woman that woke up the residence of the area. Majority of the people in the area were shock and surprised and wondered that such an act could happen in Ibadan.

Later, the woman reported the case of assault against her husband at Iddo police station.

She reportedly later went to a private hospital where she was treated.
